		A comprehensive solution to control windy conditions for ACCs Strong winds combined with certain temperatures are known to lower fan performance and have a detrimental impact on air cooled condenser productivity. High winds often cause the venturi effect where wind speed under the fans cause back pressure, reducing air intake and very often causing the fans to completely stall. It is not only the prevailing wind which causes this phenomenon; often surrounding buildings, trees and tall hedges can exaggerate the problem. 25 years’ experience in fabric solutions combined with the latest design software, fabric welding and sewing facilities allow us to provide tailor-made shields specific to each application. Designed to fit onto the existing or modified steel structure, our shields can incorporate patented built in tensioning technology and can accommodate access, maintenance and later pipe work requirements. 		Our engineers will work with you to design the best windshield solution for each application. We have a wide range of mesh sizes available to meet your airflow and structural loading requirements. Together we can establish the best siting of the windshields for maximum effect using historical weather patterns and data.
		Mesh Gauges to Suite the Application Lightweight but strong, Galebreaker’s clip-on Windshields are available in a wide range of mesh sizes to meet the requirements of each application. Typically 6%, 13%, 25% and 45% open gauges are available depending on the level of shielding required. The Flexible Solution Panels can be erected in bays to suit wind direction. They can also be moved from bay to bay should conditions change or to optimise the shielding. Additional panels can be added at any time to ‘fine tune’ the installation. Robust and Virtually Maintenance Free Apart from routine checks to ensure that the panels are tensioned properly, Galebreaker’s Windshields are maintenance free, UV tolerant and will last for many years.
				Pipework & ducting can be easily accommodated.


		Easily Installed Galebreaker windshields are designed to clip onto the existing structure. This ensures that installation is fast; a typical project being completed in five working days. We can offer a full installation service or provide a site supervisor to work with your site engineers to meet your requirements.
